So, over Thanksgiving we took a vacation to New York. The first time we have been there, we all LOVED it! I was so excited to be in a place cold enough to wear my newly knitted heringbone scarf & slouchy hat. Luck for me, my daughter is great at capturing candid moments on film, so here you go...

So I finally got around to starting a blog. Welcome to one & all! A little about me....

I have been knitting for several years now, and love it! I recently decided to try crochet, we'll see how I fare. I have a beautiful 14 year old daughter, who also knits when she isn't otherwise occupied. I also love to cook, scrapbook, and cross stitch. For Christmas I took up the creation of ribbon hairbows and headbands for my neices. All of this is in my spare time, of course, as I also have a regular full-time job, a wonderful husband, and a chihuahua named Sugar to keep me busy. So that's me in a nutshell...

From time to time I plan on posting my latest knitting & crocheting projects, as well as recipes I love. So, thanks for reading & I hope you come back soon!
